STORY
Adversity reveals character and that is precisely the obstacle that Chasing Rain 2020 Red Blend overcomes. As Red Mountain only receives 6-8 inches of rain per year, our wine stewards have a passion and hands on approach to applying the perfect amount of irrigation to our land. This allows us to consistently produce some of the best wines the world has to offer.
WINEMAKING
Grapes were delicatley hand picked, destemmed and fermented on the skins for three weeks before being aged for 20 months in New American Oak.
TASTING NOTES
Dark and brambly on the nose, with blackberry, raspberry and loads of savory herb and spice. Rich and pleasing on the palate, with round, chewy tannins aming a generous mid palate that leads to a long, fruit driven finish.
PAIRINGS
Pairs well with braidsed lamb shank with mint sauce and rustic potatoes, pulled pork sandwiches, or mozzerella and serrano ham pizza
